In February 2000, Corning Inc. acquired Siemens AG’s interest in their worldwide fiber-optic cable ventures – including Siecor Corp – and merged the businesses into one operation called Corning Cable Systems. This project provided a new specialty manufacturing facility for Corning Cable Systems to produce fiber optic cable. Conventional structural frame, non-load bearing precast architectural concrete wall panels, aluminum storefront glass systems, sloped floor with integral floor drains in slabs throughout, building is fully conditioned.
